Here we have collected all our spice seeds. Spices are edible parts of plants. Spices are added to dishes to enhance the dining experience through their taste, aroma and color. The most common additive to food is common table salt, mineral salt (sodium chloride) does not count as a spice. Spices are also used to extend the shelf life of food (preservatives), as medicine, as a dye and in perfume making.
Among our spice seeds you will find perennials such as chives and mint, but also annual spices such as different kinds of basil and sweet flakes. Many herbs bloom in late summer, which is appreciated by bees and other pollinators.
